Minsky went against instinct and broke Yuri’s curse when he joined NASA in 2006. Praised for his keen intellect, he was asked to help develop the artificial intelligence for the super computer onboard the Discovery One. Controversy surrounds Minsky’s final days. Some say he was a hero who put an end to the system he helped develop which had gone rogue, while others say he was just curious what would happen if he pressed that button.
